While driving through the Antelope Valley in California, at the base of the mountains, was a huge expanse of purple and yellow flowers. The old oak trees stretched across the foothills in such a way that each individual tree seemed to have staked out it’s own area. The field was awash with color creating a natural canvas painted by the spring flowers. It was so peaceful and quite that I wanted to capture the tranquility for those times when we need to stop, center ourselves and get in touch with nature’s soothing energy.
