This quaint little house is nestled among lush greenery on a quiet street in Carmel, California. Our young son, Albert, discovered this cottage when we were taking a morning walk and it became one of his favorite places to visit. Over the years we have taken many photographs of him standing in front of the place he named "The Cottage in the Woods". After one of our trips to Carmel he asked if I would do a painting of his "cottage"....how could I refuse.
