I painted this scene based on a photograph that was found in the attic of my wife’s grandparents home. The only information of the photo was “English Village”. Built from local stone this English village has seen many wet springs and cold damp winters. No matter what century the spring flowers always burst with color and give us a glimpse into a time gone by.~Dwayne Hickman
